Accessibility Statement
We want everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to use summerlinpools.com. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page, and clear page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer).
- Visible focus outlines so you can see where you are when using a keyboard.
- Text and controls that meet WCAG AA color contrast, and links in text that are underlined, not shown by color alone.
- Star ratings written out as text (for example, "4.9 out of 5 stars"), so ratings do not rely on symbols or color.
- Data tables with captions and column headers. On phones, the company list shows as stacked cards so nothing scrolls sideways.
- Labeled search and filter controls, and an announcement of how many companies match when you filter.
- Links that open in a new tab are announced to screen readers.
- Animations and transitions are turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.
We test pages with the axe-core automated checker and by keyboard. We last reviewed the site on November 1, 2026.
Known limitations
Automated tools cannot catch every problem, and we have not yet completed a full test with every screen reader. Links to company websites, Google and YouTube go to sites we do not control, which may not be fully accessible.
